These animations look horrible without a black backround.--Tribun (talk) 13:33, 16 March 2013 (PDT)

I know. I am going to change them. Just wanted to see if the animations were good and the right size. They did. --Arthgon (talk) 13:59, 16 March 2013 (PDT)
Yeah, I scaled all the original 16x16 images up to 32x32. Used a basic scaler so not to mess up the original image. I was happy with the results. Dungy (talk) 16:14, 16 March 2013 (PDT)
Do they have the wrong size or did I something wrong? I was even surprised that the animations were flowing right. I am not that good in making animations of set of different pictures of monsters and such.--Arthgon (talk) 16:37, 16 March 2013 (PDT)
I use GIMP to make my animations GIMP It's pretty easy, but you have to work with layers and know how to use filters. When you scale images, use a linear scaler, or they look bad. Black backgrounds are ESSENTIAL. Dungy (talk) 18:59, 16 March 2013 (PDT)
Oh, brilliant! Thanks for fixing those automagically Fenyx4! Dungy (talk) 20:10, 16 March 2013 (PDT)
On second thought, that breaks the 32x32 original image, and turns them into ugly black rectangles. Maybe I'll keep doing it my way. Dungy (talk) 20:12, 16 March 2013 (PDT)
Were there any animations missing of those monsters? --Arthgon (talk) 03:49, 17 March 2013 (PDT)
Not that I'm aware of. Dungy (talk) 04:00, 17 March 2013 (PDT)

Background[edit]

Can you try to make the same size black background for each underworld critter. They'd look better. Dungy (talk) 06:17, 18 March 2013 (PDT)

Okay. I will try. Best size? Edit: I was about to fill in the HP, but you beat me to it. That's okay. --Arthgon (talk) 07:05, 18 March 2013 (PDT)
Hmm.. Best size? How big is that spider, anyway? Maybe 150 x 150? 200x200? what do you think would work best? Dungy (talk) 16:39, 18 March 2013 (PDT)

Right Years?[edit]

I was wondering; The PC-88 and the PC-88 version of Ultima I came before the MSX2, right? (cannot remember at this moment. It has been a long day) --Arthgon (talk) 22:43, 19 April 2016 (UTC)

Internal Formats Animations Questions.[edit]

Important questions: 1) Has anyone use the Internal Formats as a reference for the animations for the creatures and the NPC's? That's because some (Ultima III, IV, etc) are other way around when I used image as [Insert Save name] on the gifs and then turn it into png with GIF maker. 2) Has anyone done the same to Ultima I? --Arthgon (talk) 15:36, 22 June 2016 (UTC)

Ideas for space saving[edit]

Ditto on what I was saying at Talk:Ultima III monster data#Ideas for space saving. Since there are some pretty big images (even bigger than those on Ultima II monster data) I think breaking up this articles into platform categories is a pretty good idea.--The Ultra-Mind (talk) 11:30, 12 July 2022 (MDT)
