The NES Ultima V manual "Hint Book" is the manual for the NES-port of Ultima V. It is 80 pages long.
Description[edit]
Like the manual of the previous NES-port, this manual does come in the normal game manual size factor and is printed in full color. The manual is not written in-universe and is rather to the point with many of its instructions, not bothering with immersion. Like the game itself, the many color illustrations are drawn in a western style. While the book calls itself "Hint Book", it still is a regular manual. Due to the fact that the game only got released in western markets, there is no Japanese version of the book.

Trivia[edit]
- The book does contain the map to Dungeon Despise, which in turn is missing from the maps printed on the reverse of the NES map for Ultima V.
