Leila is a minor character from Hiroyuki Watanabe's 1990 Ultima-inspired manga, Ultima: The Fall of Magincia.

Description[edit]

Leila was the younger sister of Captain Susadora, and lived alongside their mother on the island of Golaia. She was in a romantic relationship with Johnny, a member of her brother's crew, and was characterized as being somewhat domineering toward him – frequently arguing with him over his time spent at sea and calling him out publicly regarding his exaggerated stories of heroism. Susadora was fiercely protective of her, and often threatened Johnny should he appear to be less than gentlemanly regarding his little sister.[1]

Leila was slain when Vitor's daemon allies massacred the people of Golaia. Johnny later left a small necklace at her grave, which he had previously stolen from a peddler in Buccaneer's Den that he might give it to her as a gift upon his return from a voyage.[2]
