Hythloth (Ultima V)

Hythloth is surprisingly mild if you know where the secrets are and stick to the route. The one dungeon room you do need to enter, however, is a very hard battle.

Levels 1-6: Climb down, ignoring everything else. Be sure to stop at 7.

Level 7: Find a secret door in the southern wall and take the ladder in the southwest corner.

Level 8: Go north and up the ladder.

Level 7 (again): Go east through a secret door and down the ladder.

Level 8 (again): Head west into a room with daemons and wisps. Fight them or race down the ladder before they possess your entire party.

The Underworld beneath Hythloth holds the Mystic Armour, Mystic Weapons and the Shard of Cowardice.
