Deceit (Ultima V)
Deceit has a very fun 3-D maze full of multi-level pit traps and a few puzzle rooms, but if you're just looking to get to the Underworld as quickly as possible, and are willing to take some fall damage, it's a piece of cake:
Level 1: Jump in the "Bottomless Pit"
Levels 2-7: Fall uncontrollably
Level 8: Land in a room full of sea serpents. Quickly exit to the south (or kill them and shoot the gems if you'd like to collect them). Go all the way south and then into the next room. If you have the crown, you should be able to slip past the daemon and dragons in this room and the room to the west; both have triggers that release groups of minor enemies as well. Leave through the southern exit and in the next room (Room 15), release the triggers in the order shown on the map below.
The Underworld below Deceit holds the Shard of Falsehood. To return, you'll have to go the hard way (since you can't go back up from the room with the sea serpents).
Level 8: Pass straight north through the dragon rooms and take either ladder.
Level 7: Go south and into the room, then east and up the ladder.
Level 6: Search to reveal the pit trap at the intersection, then head east or west and up either ladder.
Level 5: Head north and take the ladder up.
Level 4: Continue up.
Level 3: Dispel four fields and fight/avoid four daemons and continue up.
Level 2: Head north, drink at the healing fountain, and continue up.
Level 1: Find the hidden door at the southern end of the corridor and go through to reach the ladder to the surface.
