In the shamastic magic of Eodon, the spell of Eagle Eye is one of great knowledge.
Spell Description[edit]
To cast the spell, the shaman has to make an offering of Pinde to the totem of Heluzz. Once the offering is accepted, the spirit of the shaman will briefly leave his or her body and gain knowledge of the wider surroundings, as if seen by an eagle from high above - even if being underground. This way it is possible to be warned of dangers ahead, which are still out of normal sight.

The natives believe that during the spell the shaman leaves his body and becomes a spirit-eagle, looking down at the world from high above. Regardless of superstition, I have personally witnessed shamans under the influence of this spell demonstrating impressive knowledge of their surroundings, knowledge that cannot be attributed solely to memory or experience.
