Summon Animal
Totem: Motazz Motazzt.gif
Offering: Chocolatl SE-chocolatl.gif

In the shamastic magic of Eodon, the spell of Summon Animal allows the shaman to summon a creature of the wild for help.

Spell Description[edit]

To cast the spell, the shaman has to make an offering of Chocolatl to the totem of Motazz. Once the offering is accepted, a creature of the wilderness of Eodon - usually of the more unfriendly kind - appears to fight at the shaman's side in battle. The spell does only work however, if already being locked in combat with foes, otherwise the call is ignored by the animals.

Lore[edit]

With this offering, the shaman invokes Motazz to summon a creature into the battle. This spell, and indeed all those associated with Motazz, only works when locked in mortal combat, or so say all the shamans I've spoken to. Personally, I believe that it is simply the scent of the aromatic chocolatl and the noise of conflict that summons the creatures, but there is little doubt that friendly animals do appear.

Trivia[edit]

  • The spell works the same as the Britannian spell Conjure, in that it calls upon creatures of the wilderness for help.
