The Genesis of Ultima is a Japanese language publication released by Locus sometime after 1998.

The Genesis of Ultima features interview excerpts from Richard Garriott, along with information about the development of the Ultima series.
Of interesting note, this publication included the Apple II disk images of Akalabeth, and Ultima I ‑ IV, along with an Apple II emulator to run the software.
