The original edition of Ultima Online was notorious for containing no instructions on how to actually play the game - only the commands without any explanation - which perhaps was done in a misguided belief that the player should explore such things. While that was fixed in later issues, in Japan a book that explained such things for the original issue of the game was published alongside the game with the blessing of Origin. While is does so really well, though due to being written in Japanese nothing but the headers can be read, the book only contains color pages up to page 128. The remaining pages after that are only in monochrome.
