Steve is the blacksmith at The Shattered Shield in Bordermarch in Ultima V.

The longtime personal smith for Sir Simon and Lady Tessa, Steven had fled to Bordermarch with his lord when Trinsic fell to Lord Blackthorn’s Oppression. Steven had originally apprenticed with Woolfe at The Paladin’s Protectorate, but believed his former master probably thought him dead after the fall of Trinsic. The blacksmith was proud of his accomplishments in metalworking since then, having created Amulets of Turning and magic axes with the help of Lady Tessa's magical abilities.[1]
Steven admitted they had a motley crew assembled on the island, and the only one who lived on the island by choice was Norcen, who he admitted was an unusual character but a loyal compatriot.
If told that Binthus wished Steven to make cooking utensils instead of arms and armour, Steven merely shook his head and remarked that Binthus was doing fine already with what he had.
