In Ultima Online, the Crane Marsh is a swamp on the Tokuno Islands, located in the southern part of Homare-Jima.
Description[edit]
At the location had once been a village, but after the swamp had flooded the area, the villagers had left and the buildings started to decay, now being in various states of disrepair. Ledgends of treasure are known, but entering the area his highly dangerous, as the swamp is inhabited by various monsters - including the name-giving cranes - which don't take kindly to any kind of intruder in their domain.
Therefore it usually is best to avoid this area altogether.
