Cellia is the furrier, tanner, and tailor of Serpent Isle’s Monitor. She appears in Ultima VII Part Two.
Description[edit]
A Knight of Monitor's Wolf Command, Cellia's worked as the city's furrier, tanner, and tailor, and she was tasked with creating ceremonial cloaks the new Knights, which were made from the pelts of the totemic animals they fought within the Knight's Test. She also crafted caps, boots, and other warm apparel essential to anyone traveling to Serpent Isle's northern climes, which were available for purchase at her shop on Pikemans' Road.[1]
A hardworking woman, Cellia relied on trappers such as Hazard to supply her with exotic pelts from beasts of the Northern Forest and the cold regions of the north, such as snow leopards and the tragically misunderstood Gwani.[2] Hazard and his men only came to Monitor a few times each year, however, and she would occasionally rely on local knights such as Luther to bring her their hunting spoils. No friend to Luther, however, Cellia would freely share that he was no great hunter and would deride him as a bully and buffoon, explaining if asked, that he would lose his guard if insulted and admitting that she wished somebody would teach him a lesson.[3]
Along with the great multitude of Monitor's people, Cellia was brutally killed when the city was invaded by the Goblin horde and an accompanying arm of beasts. all led by Dupre during his possession by the Bane of Wantonness.
