Valos is a vinter in Skara Brae in Ultima V: Lazarus.
A dreamy, confused man, Valos grew fresh fruit, including apples, pears, and peaches, for Tamethe at The Haunting Inn, and created a number of vintages from his personal vineyard. He personally believed his wines were second only to Empath Abbey, a position he proudly occupied.[1]
Valos had noticed recently something had been eating the fruit from his garden, and suspected it was some kind of wild animal. Originally frightened, he was reassured that the culprit was harmless by the ranger Hazael[2], who oddly refused a few casks of wine in payment for his services. After discovering Froed hiding in the wilderness of the island, the Avatar learned the secret of Valos' missing fruit.[3]
