Techniques[edit]
Intro skip[edit]
It is possible to skip the intro sequence to the game causing Iolo, Mayor Finnigan, and Petre to become frozen until you speak with them. This allows you to avoid the forced dialog sequences.
To do this simply toggle into and then out of combat as the Avatar steps out of the moongate. This can be done easily by pressing C on the keyboard twice.
Sphere skip[edit]
It is possible to skip the moongate guarding the Sphere Generator thus bypassing the need to obtain the Enchanted Hourglass from Nicodemus.
To perform the skip, you need to run diagonally from the SW to the NE through the right side of the moongate. This can be done from anywhere along the SW to NE diagonal positions that move you through the right most tile of the moongate. You will also need to be facing either left or right before you perform the trick. When done correctly, you will bypass the moongate teleporter and gain access to the Sphere Generator.
This trick requires a party member!
To find the correct diagonal positions that will take you through the moongate, stand as close as you can to moongate making sure to be as far to the right as possible, then move SE from that position. Stop at any point and move one tile left/right and then back to where you were standing, then run diagonally NE through the gate.
