The Codex amulet

The premium edition of Ultima IX in Japan contained this special trinket, the Codex amulet.

Description

This round amulet is made of metal and has the Codex symbol engraved on its surface. Surrounding the symbol are the names of the Eight Virtues in English. However, the order of the virtues is not correct – there does not seem to be any special order at all. The amulet comes with a snaphook connected by a small chain with a loop in the amulet, but this can easily be removed to replace it with a string or chain for wearing the amulet around the neck.
