Vidos is a guard in Trinsic during the time of Ultima IX.

Vidos greeted the Avatar at the entrance to the Bastion, warning of the ghosts within, but would not stop the hero from entering. Later, when the Avatar needed to re-create the Chalice of Honor, Vidos was dismissive of the Avatar's intention to restore Honor to the city with an ordinary cup. He then likened the Avatar's mentality to that of another visitor to the city (later revealed to be Virgil), who was deeply concerned about Honor.[1]
After the Shrine of Honor was cleansed, Vidos vowed be more attentive to his fellow man.
