Virgil is a farmer living a little south of Trinsic in Ultima IX.
Description[edit]
His family years ago had received the promise from the paladins of Trinsic to be helped in times of need. However, when phase spiders were invading his land through a rift that only a paladin could close, they neglected their duties.[1]
Desperate, Virgil asked around the city, and then retreated to his rented room, disappointed that no one wanted to help him. The Avatar found him there, and promised to convince one of the paladins honor their oath. Virgil returned to his land, and the Avatar convinced Lucero to do it, who, in the end, fulfilled his obligation, at the cost of his own life.
