Terri is the head of the Royal Mint in Britain in Ultima VI.
Description[edit]
By decree of Lord British, Terri was the only person allowed to mint the various coins used throughout Britannia. When the Avatar met her, she revealed some interesting facts about her job. Along with her minting duties, she was tasked to exchange gold nuggets for coins, adding that the hero would not have to pay the normal 10% tax. While she felt the Avatar would only ever need to use gold coins, she still displayed the various Coins of the Kingdom.
Terri also revealed that she came from a long line of minters and had taken up this position from her deceased father. Terri was lonely with her solitary position in the mint and was always looking for new visitors. She was good friends with Kytyn and could not wait to tell her about her meetings with the Avatar.[1]

In addition to purchasing gold bars and nuggets, Terri would also exchange the various gemstones collected by the Avatar for gold coinage. She remarked that Lord British was a good man, and wished he would visit the mint more often.
Asked about Efram's friend Adan after being told of him by Hermione and of his job for the mint by Efram, Terri admitted that he had been gone for quite some time for another gold delivery. Another man, whom she falsely assumed was an associate of Adon's, had recently been at the mint asking about Adan's gold. This unknown man told Terri he had planned to go to Despise to pick up another shipment from Adon, but in reality he was a greedy rival who murdered the lonely miner – only to get killed himself in the dungeon. Terri tasked the Avatar with finding the gold delivery and news from Adan. Finding all the gold and his journal, the Avatar brought her the bad news and Terri solemnly took hold of the gold, while giving the Avatar a very generous reward for all the troubles.
Should the Avatar be female, Terri would unabashedly flirt with the Avatar's companions, instead of the hero herself.

Trivia[edit]
- If the Avatar is male, she makes her romantic interests towards him abundantly clear.
- Terri claims her mother saw the Avatar at a celebration after the Codex was recovered, although the Avatar returned directly to Earth after said event. This was changed in the ending of the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (released before Ultima VI), where the party takes place.
