Facts and gameplay

I have a few questions about the article:

1. Are mice harmless or do they sometimes poison?
2. I'm also wondering if the description is a depiction of game mechanics or just narrative gleaned from reading material. I'm uncertain that we want to talk about what mice do, and then have readers wondering why they don't do it:
   1. Will they consume food?
   2. Do cats chase them?
