The Dungeon of the Snake is a dungeon which exists in Sosaria in Ultima III.
Description[edit]
These labyrinthine depths, which alone out of all dungeons of the realm, held the crucial Mark of the Snake, was located on an island east of the Montors and could only be reached through a moongate when Felucca was a waxing crescent. The Stranger would have cause to visit this dungeon during the quest against Exodus, as only those with the Mark therein could pass the Great Earth Serpent and enter into the Castle of Fire.
In addition to the Mark of the Snake, the Mark of Kings was also available in the dungeon's lowest depths, and those seeking quick money could find large caches of gold on its topmost level.
