This article is about a mage from Cove. For the proprietor of The Sage Deli, see Shaman (Moonglow).
Shaman is a tall mage living in Cove during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
Shaman could be found sitting around a small fire alongside Spellbind, Charm, and Circe. Shaman said that he studied the "one" thing that is the secret to the Codex of Ultimate Wisdom: the one pure axiom more endless than the changing tides and more eternal than day and night.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (Japanese original), Shaman can be identified with the fighter north of his original location. This character was removed in the English localization.
- According a document discovered by historians Robert De Main and Carlotta Stein that purports to be the Avatar's personal diary, Shaman wears a serious expression, and interrupts Spellbind rather coolly during their conversation with the Stranger in order to describe the axiom.[2]
