Not one, but two maps were included with the SNES-port of Ultima VII.
Description[edit]
While there was a separate paper map included in the SNES-port, it was a paper map of the original cloth map and had no real value for the port. Instead, the real, and more useful, map was included in the instruction manual. Its use is very limited however, since a simple spell in the game – which costs no mana – can create a map which has all locations on it.
The map shows the altered landscape of Britannia in the SNES-port, with features that do not exist in the original (such as a big lake north of Britain). The map is very rough and shows only little detail, even of the cities.
