Roark is a seasoned fighter who could be found at Serpent's Hold during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
Roark could be found at the Courage Healer where he had just finished being tended by Windwalker. Should the Stranger speak to the warrior about his various quests on behalf of Britannia, Roark would tell the hero that the Codex of Ultimate Wisdom should be sought in the Great Stygian Abyss.[1]

Trivia[edit]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Roark can be identified with the injured man in the same location (maybe he had a relapse). He speaks about his fevered dreams, seeing visions of the colors blue, green, purple and white, which he for some reason he identifies as comprising "Truth".[2] The woman in the same room is Quix, a wandering mage from Trinsic.
