Riona is a druidess living in Yew in The Ultima 6 Project.
Description[edit]
The daughter of Harmon, the former mayor of Yew, Riona served on the Druid Council, helping to see that Justice was meted out fairly in Britannia. Riona welcomed the Avatar to her fair town, but admitted things were not as pleasant as they had been. She told the hero how a alleged Gargoyle attack on the city several evenings ago had led to two houses being burnt and the loss of about half their crops. The druid was worried the city might still be in danger, and offered the hero a room on the third floor of the barracks to sleep during the evening.
Distraught over the recent death of her father, she had been neglecting her duties on the Council, instead leaving many of the responsibilities of Justice to the new mayor Lenora, who also grieved for the loss of her friend. When Boskin stole the Rune of Justice from Harmon's grave, the druidess had been too upset to attend the trial, again leaving the responsibility of sentencing in Lenora's hands. When Boskin charged the Avatar with getting support for his wife Ibbie and daughter Jessa, it was Riona who, after made aware of the harsh situation, pledged to support these two.
After discussing Boskin and Lenora with the Avatar, and after being told Lenora's story by Witton, Riona felt after some inquiries that her and the other druids failure to assist Lenora had led to the new mayor's harsh interpretation of Justice, and the young druid vowed to review Boskin's case and assist Lenora with her work.
