Witton is a farmer in Yew in The Ultima 6 Project.

Witton could frequently be found working his fields in central Yew during the day. He had been close friends with the scoundrel Boskin for a number of years, and the two have assisted the other's farm for many seasons. The farmer felt his friend's incarceration unfair, for Boskin had asked Lenora for help when his fields were destroyed by a Gargoyle raid, but had been summarily rejected by the mayor. With Boskin's arrest for stealing the Rune of Justice, Witton had to help out Boskin's wife Ibbie and daughter Jessa.
After the Avatar spoke to the druidess Riona about Boskin's situation, Riona agreed to assist Boskin by reviewing his case and providing care for Ibbie and Jessa. Overcome with relief for his family, Boskin told the hero that he gave the Rune of Justice to Witton prior to his arrest, and Witton was more than happy to provide it to the Avatar with Boskin's consent. After this, Witton told the hero how Lenora and the former mayor Harmon had been close friends and coworkers, so it had seemed natural to make her mayor after Harmon's death. Lenora was broken up over his death, and felt herself unworthy to replace the new mayor, so had ordered the Rune of Justice buried with Harmon.
The other members of the Druid Council, grieving in their own manner, had been unable to help Lenora, and the stress of her new position had made Lenora cold and hard. Witton asked the hero to talk to Riona to try to find some way to help the mayor. After the mayor came to understand true Justice with the Avatar's help, Witton admitted to being quite attracted to the mayor, hence his interest in her personal life.
