Perrin is a scholar, author and trainer living in the vicinity of Empath Abbey during Ultima VII.
Description[edit]
A seeming polymath of the age, Perrin had already authored several books on the topics of botany,[1] literature,[2] meteorology,[3][4] and zoology,[5] by the time of the Avatar's adventures in the realm, and had even penned a lengthy allegorical history (The Hundred and Eleven Year, Three-Month, Seven-Day War) illustrating the stability afforded Britannia by its singular and undying ruler.[6]
At the time of the hero's questing regarding the Black Gate, Perrin was engaged in an ongoing observation of the effects which continuous contact with the dead had had on the local undertaker, Tiery, and had cataloged his subject's bizarre necromania in his incomplete work, How Death Affects Those Who Work Around it With Regularity.[7][8]
Should the Avatar speak with Perrin about Empath Abbey as a community, the scholar would offer his opinions on various things topical of the area, although he appeared to have scant knowledge of his neighbors outside of of his current case subject.[9]
