Molly is one of the survivors of Dawn following its destruction, in Ultima IX.[1]
Description[edit]
The Avatar met Molly amongst the ruins of the city of Dawn, surrounded by the those who had perished. She begged the hero to leave the ruins out of respect for the dead. Molly told the Avatar that the dragon Talornia had destroyed their city, and that they could not rebuild, since all of the men had been killed.[1] She mentioned that a number of men had entered Destard with the intent of slaying the dragon, but they had not returned, and Talornia boasted of killing them all.[2] Many of the wives, so besot with grief, simply could not overcome the loss and died from despair. The remaining citizens, led by Xarnthal, who had formed a cult worshiping the dragon, then left to enter the dungeon.[3]
With the death of Talornia, Molly thanked the Avatar for all he had done, commenting that she could hear the dragon's death cry even from outside the dungeon.

- A bug sometimes causes the character to disappear by floating off into the sky.
