Ultima V: Lazarus[edit]

This is an Ultima V: Lazarus-related article or section. The information within may not apply to Ultima V or other Ultima games.

In Ultima V: Lazarus, Lorien told the hero how the coast near Paws used to be the haunt of smugglers before they approached Britain, and many of those old buccaneers eventually settled in Paws, included Lorien's father and grandfather.[1]

The spirited tavernkeep felt that Paws was the best named city in Britannia, for while Britain hardly shouted Compassion, the sheer number of cats in the village were well summed up by the name Paws. Lorien also felt the unusual Dr. Cat fit in perfectly with the community, although he seemed more interested in the feline inhabitants than the human ones. Still, since the The Cat's Lair brought a lot of visitors to Paws, many people listened to what he had to say.

When the Avatar asked her about Ferru’s affections,[2] she admitted that she found the man handsome and attractive, but she also knew that the Oppression had control of him. She saw him constantly sitting in The Cat's Lair searching for information, and this intimidated her.

Trivia[edit]

  • In Ultima V: Lazarus, Lorien is renamed Lorren.
