Gargoyle tavern

An unnamed gargoyle tavern exists on the western half of Vesper during Ultima VII, catering to the ghettoized gargish populace who find themselves unwelcome in the human-inhabited portions of the town.
Description[edit]
Run by Ansikart, the tavern on the Vesperian west bank did its best to cater to the insular community wrought out of the racially tense mining town. Likely untitled due to gargoyle conventions of naming by functionality, the ale house served as a place for social gathering and food, with its proprietor doing his best to keep an optimistic spirit regardless of the prejudices that divided his people.
Of particular note were two bitterly unhappy gargoyles, Anmanivas and Foranamo, who could be found drinking at the bar throughout each day. During the Avatar's adventures in Britannia at the time, the hero would be tempted by the voice of the Guardian to self-proclaim Avatarhood, inciting the gargoyles to attack the "False Prophet" in a blind rage, should the Avatar comply.
