Foranamo is a wingless gargoyle who formerly worked as a miner in Vesper in Ultima VII.
Description[edit]
Foranamo shared his brother Anmanivas's maddened hatred of humanity, to such an extent that the gargish community of Vesper had forbidden him from going to the eastern bank of the town's oasis, worried that violence would erupt were he to have dealings with humans. Turning to alcohol to dull his rage, the gargoyle could commonly be found at the local tavern with his brother, where they drank throughout the day.[1]
Should the Avatar approach Foranamo in Ansikart's alehouse, the voice of the Guardian would prompt "Go inside. Tell them you are the Avatar!". Should the Avatar comply, Foranamo would be overtaken by his hatred and attack the "False Prophet," whom he felt bore responsibility for his misfortunes.[2]
Trivia[edit]
- Foranamo translates to "strong hatred" in Gargish.
