Flann is a desperate woman in Britain in Ultima IX.

The Avatar met her in front of the Cathedral of Love, where she was in desperate need of Serpentwyne which was not available since Aria stole the snake that produced it. The Avatar, however, managed to acquire a bottle for her.[1]
After returning from the Terfin, she finally told the Avatar why she was in Britain. Her son, Jordan had gone to Valoria to become a knight, and she hadn't heard from him again. Thanks to sea travel breaking down, she was stuck in Britain. However, the Avatar could only bring her bad news, as he later found her son's body in Valoria, returning his journal to her.
Trivia[edit]
- In the Dialogue Patch for Ultima IX, Flann's story is better fleshed out and different. Her son decided to join the Wyrmguards, her husband opposed such decision, therefore the son stabbed his father before leaving. Flann needs the Serpentwyne to heal her husband's serious wound.
- One bottle of Serpentwyne can be found on the shore south of the city, near the west gate. Bringing it to Flann improves karma by 1 point.
