Captured essence is a magical reagent.

Ultima Online[edit]
In Ultima Online, captured essence is a component for the skill Alchemy, where four of them can be used in order to create a hovering wisp. What exactly this essence is, is not clear, most likely the spiritual remains of a magical creature.
Trivia[edit]
- Captured Essence can only be gathered in the dungeon Prism of Light, where it is found on Shimmering Effusion corpses.
