Boar, from Ultima VII Part Two manual | |
Only appearance: | Ultima VII Part Two |
The wild, suidae boars can be a dangerous prey for hunters, due to their sharps tusks and strong hooves.
Description[edit]
Despite the dangers, however, hunters make boars their primary targets, since their meat is delicious and usually considered to be worth the danger of hunting them for it. Legend has it that the humanoid orcs were originally created by genetically mating humans with wild boars[1].
Boars can be found everywhere in the wilderness, though they do prefer forests.
Lore[edit]
“ | This wild creature displays a nasty temperament. Though boar's meat is quite delectable, fear of being gored by a tusk leads many to seek less violent sustenance. |
