Azure is a tinker who may be found at the Wayfarer's Inn in Minoc during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
Azure is a rune-carver, and at Gimble’s urging, the Stranger could ask him about the city's hidden rune of Sacrifice. While he would not reveal its location directly, Azure could tell the Stranger to ask his sister Mischief.[1]
Ultima V: Lazarus[edit]
This is an Ultima V: Lazarus-related article or section. The information within may not apply to Ultima V or other Ultima games.
In Ultima V: Lazarus, even though Azure does not appear, Sir Arbuthnot mentions Azure is his grandfather, and that he got the skills needed to create the Codex Coin from Azure's talent with rune carving.
Trivia[edit]
NES remake.
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Azure can be identified with the woman in blue in the town center, who similarly explains the link between runes and shrines.[2]
- In the novelization of Ultima IV in Ultima: The Avatar Adventures, Azure is a small woman, rather than a man.[3]
