Anwen is an apothecarist in Skara Brae in Ultima V: Lazarus.
A elderly and somewhat absentminded woman, Anwen made a living by growing and selling herbs, as well as a small collection of curative potions. She made some business by selling her stock to Toama, as well as purchasing reagents for use in her more exotic concoctions. Quite knowledgeable in herbal lore, she invited the hero to peruse her library if interested in learning more on the topic. In her youth, she had been a Forest Walker, joining expeditions to race from the far eastern reaches of Spiritwood to the shores of Skara Brae. She had often competed against Temptious, but now such days were behind her. [1]
With the arrival of Flain, Anwen felt the normally contemplative island had taken on an oppressive silence, but was unwilling to talk more about the archmage.
