Temptious is the healer at The Spirit Healers in Skara Brae in Ultima V.

An elderly healer, Temptious believed he helped heal the soul as well as the body of his patients, feeling that many of his sickest patients managed to defy death through strength of will.[1]
Temptious noted that since the arrival of the archmage Flain, few travelers dared the Spiritwood, so he had been far less preoccupied tending the needs of unwary adventurers. Unwilling to talk at length about Flain's arrival, Temptious' noted his free time allowed him to concentrate his efforts on Kindor, a pitiful bard who had been struck down by a poisoned arrow in the Spiritwood. Baffled by what toxin inflicted its ravages upon Kindor, Temptious was frustrated that Saul had discarded the arrow, and Kindor was not strong enough to describe his attackers, leaving the healer no idea what was causing the bard's affliction.
If the Avatar convinced Kindor to reveal the true nature of his wound,[2] that he was struck down by a Shadowlord’s arrow on the evening Flain invaded Skara Brae, Temptious felt he was better positioned to cure Kindor's ailment with this new found knowledge, preparing to consult several other healers on treatment options.
