Toama is a reagent merchant at The Alchemist in Skara Brae in Ultima V.

Toama told the hero that she originally set up shop in Skara Brae assuming that the powerful archmage Flain would constantly require reagents for his experimentation. She further hoped Flain, as a member of the Oppression, would license her to sell the more powerful reagents to customers. Unfortunately, her opportunism made her hated by the other members of the community who loathed the Oppression, and especially the ranger Abiona had been vocal with her disapproval. To make matters worse, Flain had shown no interest in visiting her store, and had never once used her resources to procure reagents.[1]
Toama felt the ranger Abiona to be obnoxious and abusive, but that the ranger captain Heron was a good man who did not look down upon her original reasons for moving to the island. She also felt the young ranger Hazael was a sweet man, and hoped Abiona did not change how he felt about women.
Toama stocked ginseng, blood moss, black pearl, and sulphurous ash, but was unable to procure mandrake root or nightshade due to her inability to obtain the appropriate license. Anwen the apothecarist supplied ginseng for the store, while Toama often sold her reagents.
