Why 150 px? Do we really have a standard picture size on the wiki? Dungy 16:38, 26 October 2011 (PDT)

It has practical reasons. Not everyone has a 16:9 screen and a gallery size higher than 150px pushes part of it off-screen on a 4:3 screen on 1024x768 (which is still VERY common) which is not good for a gallery.--Tribun 05:18, 27 October 2011 (PDT)
In truth, 1024x768 comprises a rather small minority (14%) of resolution usage these days; most people are using either 16:9 or 16:10 displays. Statistics can be found here. --Terilem 05:38, 27 October 2011 (PDT)
Very interesting. More relevantly, can this information be garnered for Codex visitors? I can see a lot of use for such browser-revealed statistics in the future, ad infinitum. The Ultra-Mind 08:23, 28 October 2011 (PDT)
