What are the terms of the deal?[edit]

The article goes out of its way to make sure it's understood that the Inn only has one bed, suggesting that only 1 party member can sleep, but I'm not sure that makes sense. Indeed, File:Smirk.png indicates there is only one bed. Is that one bed per party member? So a full party would have to pay 80gp? If this is all just a red herring and it costs 10gp for an entire party to sleep, I'd suggest simplifying the table.--The Ultra-Mind (talk) 12:51, 3 March 2022 (MST)

It is to let you know where to go to make the best cuddle puddle with the rest of the party. ;)
Seriously though there is an inn with 3 different kinds available Wayfarer's_Inn#Ultima_IV so giving that information helps to differentiate between them. And although spending more does not appear to have a mechanical difference in game (although when the charts were first made we didn't know that for sure) it is still fun info to have. -- Fenyx4 22:50, 3 March 2022 (MST)
So it does... it reminds me of my first love: Wizardry, where the amount spent on sleep determined the value of that sleep. Is that what's going on at Wayfarer?
If keeping the theme is important, then I perhaps it needs a Trivia section clearing up any misunderstanding.
I also don't know what to think about "%" being used in connection with the beds. What's that all about?--The Ultra-Mind (talk) 10:45, 4 March 2022 (MST)
I am pretty sure the amount spent doesn't effect the amount healed (at least in the DOS version). Although I'd wager the intent was to make people _think_ it mattered.
No idea on "%" being used. Maybe it was supposed to be "#"? -- Fenyx4 11:02, 4 March 2022 (MST)
