Magic is like a black box? I don't see that mentioned anywhere in the transcript. Was that from Lazarus? Dungy 18:12, 16 April 2011 (PDT)

The transcript does mention "Now with all that magic, no one knows what's goin' on!", which COULD be interpreted as magic being a black box. But it could also be interpreted in other ways.--Sega381 18:43, 17 April 2011 (PDT)
Yeah, it does sound a bit like artistic license has been employed here. Reading that line in the context of Flint's other dialogue, it could simply be taken to mean he's describing a degree of upheaval or disorder introduced in the shipbuilding industry.
As an aside, this does raise another concern for me: Aren't references meant to indicate that a passage is verifiably factual? I'd much rather see this kind of issue addressed before citations are added. Otherwise, they're open to be doubted, which kind of undermines the whole purpose. --Terilem 23:26, 17 April 2011 (PDT)
I admit, I've been checking the transcript in only about 60% of articles before adding references. Some of it is just relying upon my admittedly fallible memory. Not an ideal approach, but this whole process of adding transcripts and rechecking conversations can be pretty mindnumbing. I don't possess the awesomesauce that is Blu3Vib3 and her amazing rewrite of all Ultima VII NPCs. Still, I think I've been knocking out the most glaring mistakes. Dungy 14:39, 18 April 2011 (PDT)
