New Map Organization[edit]

Is the new organization still a work in progress? There is a lot of information being lost that used to be on the mouse over text and linked with the imagemap.

The tables also cause a lot of vertical scrolling so you can't see the entire 8 level map on the screen at once. And a lot of vertical and horizontal scrolling on a phone (not to say the previous design didn't already have problems on the phone but at least it wasn't horizontal scrolling).

Figuring out which room is which on the map is also hard. Which you are fixing with reference numbers... But as I said elsewhere that is hard to see. It also limits the amount of information that can be displayed about a room. Which has caused loss of information about this room U4-Despise-L8-Room-12.

Also... What problem is this new design fixing? Is it just the desire to pull everything onto one page? -- Fenyx4 10:40, 23 November 2017 (MST)

YOU ARE RIGHT. I seldom use internet on my phone (I prefer a big screen), and I forgot about those who use it. Yes, my idea was to put all information on one page, so to avoid loading times.
I say: let us revert to the previous version on this website, the one-page version is more fitting for Strategywiki. Then, the two webpages can have a hyperlink to each other, so that every reader can choose the version that is more fitting for his hardware. --Abacos (talk) 05:29, 2 December 2017 (MST)

Need new Image[edit]

We need a new image for Level 8. The present one doesn't match the style of all other Dungeon Level images. Uniblab (talk) 03:28, 4 September 2021 (UTC)

The old version here should be in the same style; https://wiki.ultimacodex.com/wiki/File:U4-Despise-L8.png. It is also generated with this if you want to play around with it. https://github.com/Fenyx4/ultima-mapper -- Fenyx4 18:13, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
Thank you. I was hoping I wouldn't have to write my own tool. I know I can just remove the digits with MS Paint, but I wanted to be sure the images all matched. Uniblab (talk) 19:45, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
