Randal is a solemn ranger living in Vesper during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
The Stranger could find Randal around the southern wall of Vesper. Teaching of the Shrines to those who would ask, the stoic forester would inform the hero that one must visit the shrines for one, two and three cycles each before the paths they illuminate would become clear.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- In the supposed journal of the Avatar, discovered by historians Robert De Main and Carlotta Stein, Randal was found in the company of the shepherds Plain, Simple, Gem and Joseph, rather than by himself.[2]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV, Flatbush appears in the location where previously Randal was.
