The Plantelopes living on Mars travel around in big herds on the surface, but are totally harmless to the adventurer, since they are peaceful. Only in cases of provocation do they attack. They are extremely fast.

“	The gazelle-like plantelope may remind explorers of its smaller cousin, the jumping bean. Normally docile, it tends to be shy, choosing to flee rather than fight in almost every case.
