Magic fans
The magic fan is an item appearing in Ultima VI.
Description[edit]
The magic fans were, as told by Utomo of Yew in Ultima VI, made by the lady of Utomo's island nation. Their power lies in their ability to duplicate the effects of the Wind Change spell, but with infinite charges and no reagent usage, making them very useful when flying the Balloon.
Utomo once owned a pair of these fans, but one of them was stolen by the pirates under Captain Hawkins and stored in their treasure cave.
Locations[edit]
Magic fans may be found at the following locations in Ultima VI:
- Yew, in Utomo's house.
- In the pirate's treasure room of the Pirate Cave.
The Ultima 6 Project[edit]
This is an Ultima 6 Project-related article or section. The information within may not apply to Ultima VI or other Ultima games.
In The Ultima 6 Project, only one fan exists and Utomo would also only give more details to its workings after getting news from Yuna. As he would explain, here the fan is dedicated to making ship travel much faster when being used while sailing. The lone fan is still found in the treasure cave.
