Well, here I am. Thanks for creating the account for me. That's a pretty nice feature, I didn't know you could do that in MediaWiki.

Welcome! I didn't know that either myself. I've been doing a lot of reading up into things. What I really need is to get the scripts from over on the Wikia working here (AJAX-RC, the delete and purge buttons, and the social buttons are the priority right now). Yeah it already is. Most of the scripts will probably have to be tweaked to work on here, some may be easy, others may be really hard to do. Especially the bigger scripts made by other people, because I'll have to look through it and understand how the script works. By the way I repositioned the admin crown icon for the new layout, so that it's above the U in "User:". Oh, and I would also suggest going into your prefs and click "Disable browser page caching", located at the bottom in the Appearance tab. —RyaNayR (talk) 19:41, 13 May 2014 (UTC)

I like it the other way. It's positioned so that it would sit next to your name if you had an infobox. Honestly, I'd like it better if it was aligned to the right on the title.

I have faith in your abilities. Boy do I have my work cut out for me. I have to import every article from the Codex to here, assuming Fenyx4 can't find a way to import the pictures and articles here easier. I was going to do that at first, to the right of the name, but I realized that our names will be different lengths, so it would either overlap onto the name or be far away from it. But come to think of it, I may be able to append it to the end of the name dynamically with some CSS or Javascript. For the mean time I'll just put it back where it was. Nevermind, you took care of that already.

I moved it to where I was thinking, but doing the dynamic CSS thing is even better. We can leave the background as is. If you can change the favicon through css or js absolutely. The only way to change it according to MediaWiki is to modify a file called LocalSettings.php in the server, but since I don't have server access, I can't really do that. Only the server admin Fenyx4 can do it, but he is either really busy and/or in a totally different time zone.

I've been copying the wikitext. I don't have admin rights on the main Ultima Codex site, so I can't import the articles from there. And as I mentioned before, importing from Wikia in that manner isn't going to be much help. Nevermind, Fenyx4 brought over the articles from the Codex and will try to get the images over after he gets home from work. The next step in doing that must require server access. MediaWiki version

Just wanted to give you a heads up that I am going to be bumping up the version of the wiki today or tomorrow to 1.23 or 1.24 and tweaking some security setting. There shouldn't be much of an interruption. -- Fenyx4 12:01, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
