Colors

Would you mind setting up the color palette for the wiki?

Background and body: rgb(232, 211, 174)
Links: rgb(232, 211, 174)

Well I've sorta gotten the background done. But the links are impossible to see with that color, that's the same color as the background. RyaNayR (talk) 16:47, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

I didn't even realize it when I copied the color from the Inspect Elementing the Wikia Theme Designer! Well, it seems you figured it out anyway. I think we should make the body (The part that is white right now) the color I gave you and then I'll try to modify the old background from Wikia to work here. I managed to get one of the scripts from Wikia working here, Admin List! At first, it wouldn't work at all. Then I changed something and it started to pull data from the regular Ultima Codex. So with more experimenting, I got it to request information from the right source and properly display the list of admins. Good work if I do say so myself!

Also just thought I'd let you know, I did a little fiddling with some code and I kinda got the custom search bar in, but it isn't transparent (You can see white around it) and the area for typing isn't correctly defined, and I can't for the life of me figure out the values for the margins. Great job getting all that working! Sounds like you're starting to become pretty self proficient with coding. It's nice to work with someone who can do stuff on their own when I can't find time to do it.

As for the margins, I got those fixed. Were the numbers confusing? I just remember Top, Right, Bottom, Left. It goes clockwise from the top to the left. I also fixed the positioning of the redirect arrow, as well as a few other little things. —RyaNayR (talk) 05:18, 2 June 2014 (UTC)

I wasn't planning on using a graphical background, the solid color is fine. I've just been looking at other wikis code and copy pasting here and seeing what it does. The Body part should just be white with, I'm gonna guess 50% transparency. William (Talk) 09:04, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
