The unnamed gray goblin is a member of the colony of gray goblins in the northeast of the first level in Ultima Underworld.

Though simply called "goblin" in game, (s)he is quick to remind the avatar that the Gray Goblins are distinct from the Green Goblins. Green Goblins are nasty and brutish, and even uglier than humans, and not related to the Gray Goblins at all. The Gray Goblins are a powerful group, rulers of the area. Everyone looks up to Gray Goblins - humans, Green Goblins, and even the spiders.
The goblin has a few random items to barter.
