Thom is the provisioner in Britain in Ultima V: Lazarus.
This short-spoken man provided scant information to the Avatar, although he did admit to having grown up in Britain and enjoyed the sea air, having lived there all his life. Thom described Justin, the chef at the Wayfarer's Inn as a magician, but warned the hero to stay away from Maul, saying that even though his business was slower with Blackthorn's regime in charge, the streets of Britain were much safer. Thom was also briefly willing to talk about his business, mentioning he supplied tools for miners, hoes and plows for the farmers, and various adventuring supplies.[1]
If the hero first talked to Fagles about his friend Thom[2], the Avatar could ask about Thom's past adventuring days, and even though Thom provided scant information, he did reluctantly admit that he held no ill will towards his past companion in adventure, Fagles, despite at some point getting clubbed over the head by a troll.
