Thindle is a weaver in Paws in Ultima VI.
Description[edit]
Thindle was a bizarre old man who spoke in a bizarre, rambling, almost rhyming manner. He stated matter-of-factly that he made clothes more beautiful than what the Avatar wore. Arbeth personally commended Thindle's weaving skills. Thindle was friends with old Mortude, and the two could frequently be found playing flippits together. Thindle even taught the Avatar how to play flippits using a bone, a pea, and a hat.[1]
Thindle admitted that his skills were insufficient to work silk, but that Charlotte of New Magincia had that ability.

In The Ultima 6 Project, Thindle could always be found standing at work. He joked with the Avatar that at his advanced age if he sat down, he might never get up again.
