Ashling runs the Britain mill in Ultima IX.
Description[edit]
Prior to Ultima IX, the miller had been in an accident with the millstone that cost him one of his arms. Thanks to mayor Aidon's policies of removing all that were deemed undesirable, the end result was his deportation to Paws. This in turn disrupted the bakery, which lost its supply of flour and thus had to close.
The Avatar found him in Paws, protesting his fitness for work. Only after the Shrine was cleansed, and Aidon changed his policy, was he allowed to return to Britain and resume his job. Ashling said that while work went slower with only one arm, he was contributing to society again.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- The door to the Britain mill is locked until Ashling comes back to the city. Due to a bug, though, sometimes the door remains locked. Anyway, the mill can always be accessed from Jastral's bakery.
